About me
Insight is best garnered through experience—and after decades of collaborating with crews from every walk of life and corner of the world—I feel that I have developed the insight necessary to generate fresh ideas and ultimately to bring the director’s vision to the screen. Fascinated by light and shadows, I enjoy creating stylized lighting for each film. My aim is to create striking images that captivate viewers, and my years of experience allow me to do so while maximizing a budget that may otherwise seem quite restrictive. Both tolerant and inquisitive, I welcome collaboration with a diverse team of filmmakers, as I am always eager to broaden my understanding of the world while digging deeper into the art of film.As a DP, I have worked in all formats from S8, S16, 35MM to 1080, 2K, and 4K. I have won two nominations for Cinematography, and have had nineteen films screened at ninety film festivals worldwide, collectively winning fourteen awards.
